A nice sampling of the jewelry store type of items that you can buy from us, but by no means all that we can get.We make a lot of rings in many different styles and we love to make them. You can see some of them on Custom Jewelry Page. We will make them out of any metal and any lapidary material that is available. We are not restricted to opals. As you can probably guess, most of our rings are custom made for individual customers. That is just because there are so many different sizes of rings and so many different sizes and types of stones, widths of bands, variations of metals, etc It would be an impossible task to have a full selection of hand fabricated rings! So we make rings as we have the time and we offer them to you here. If one of these rings happens to be your size, then we are happy to sell that ring to you. If you see something that you like, but the stone or the size or the metal is not exactly what you want, then we will be happy to fabricate a similar ring just for you. We can also make a custom cabochon for you from any of the rough that we have on hand. So the possibilities here are endless! Look around! The answer may already be there. If not, email your question and we will answer you as soon as possible.Any ring that you see here or any other design that we might do for you, can be fabricated or cast from any material you might like with any stone that you would like as long as it is commercially available. We will also cut or set a stone that you may already have and set it into jewelry for a fee. We have created cabochons from mementos that people have or from a common stone picked up near a homestead or favorite vacation spot. We cannot be more flexible than that. Just let us know what you have in mind. We fabricate rings for men as well. A popular cabochon for a man's ring is fire agate since it is a relatively hard (Moh's 7) stone, but we have many options. A comfortable split wire mounting and a modified prong/bezel setting make this a great ring. The high dome blue jelly opal was painted with black epoxy on the back to make the colors really boucle out. The opal measures approximately 11 mm x 8 m and is quite high dome in appearance. There are multiple shades of blue visible in the jelly opal.

Long a favorite of the Egyptians, Lapis Lazuli is a classic rich blue stone. The band measures approximately 8.5 mm wide with a 6.0 mm stone. A great ring for someone who is into the classics!

Blue Glow$ 120Reticulation Silver, 18K Gold, Blue Chalcedony. Size 5 1/2.Blue Glow is a reticulated reticulation silver ring with an 18K bezel surrounding a blue chalcedony cabochon. A handwrought original design fabricated in our studio from reticulation silver, 18K gold and a 5 mm blue chalcedony cabochon. The band measures 10 mm wide. The blue chalcedony emits a blue/pink glow which varies in response to the light. This is a lovely ring which will be cherished for years to come.
Sparkler$ 75Reticulation silver with fine silver bezel and dichroic glass cabochon. Size 8.Sparkler is a reticulated silver ring with a dichroic cabochon in a fine silver bezel. These dichroic rings are quite showy as the dichroic cabochon sparkles tremendously in response to light of any kind. The particular one shows an array of sparkling blue, teal and green. Best of the West$ 120Reticulation Silver, 18K Gold and Turquoise. Six 6.Best of the West is a contemporary version of the old southwest turquoise and silver rings except this one uses reticulated silver, 18K gold and turquoise. And before anyone gets excited about authenticity, Doc is a registered member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, so we are not using someone else's heritage. The reticulated silver band measures 11.25 mm and the turquoise cabochon is 6 mm.
Interpretation for August$ 120Reticulation Silver, 18K Gold and Peridot. Size 5 1/4.Interpretation for August is a beautiful version of August's birthstone. The band measures 9.3 mm approximately and the stone is 6.0 mm. A beautiful ring for the lucky August baby who wears it, or for someone who loves peridot it is a sure winner!
Teal TemptationReticulation Silver, Fine Silver, Dichroic Glass. Size 9 1/4.A beautiful dichroic glass cabochon flashed blue/blue green/teal sparkles in response to any light. The band measures approximately 11.5 mm and the dichroic glass cabochon measures an irregular 9.2 mm x 10.2 mm. This one is a real beauty!Passionate Pink - $ 250Reticulation Silver, 18K Gold, Pink Lab Grown Star Ruby. Size 8.Passionate Pink is an exceptionally striking ring. The ring is fabricated from reticulated reticulation silver 18K Gold bezel and decorative triangular shapes and an 8 mm laboratory grown star ruby. In the bottom photo above, you can almost see a part of the star. With a single source of light you can readily see the six rayed star with lines, that appear as a lighter color than the purple/pink base, going all the way across the stone and crossing in the middle, dividing the stone into six pie shaped sections. The stone is set extra high above the band in its classic 18K gold bezel. Three small triangle of gold decorate the sides of the ring. The lab grown ruby is more plum or purple/pink than it appears in these photos. If you are considering having one of these made be aware that there are also laboratory grown blue star sapphires available and, of course, there are natural star sapphires and rubies as well as well! At this writing we have some in stock., but can always get more. There are also star stones available in a variety of other materials, just ask. This is a beautiful ring that is sure to get you lots of compliments!
Sparkling Sky$ 95Sterling Silver and Blue Topaz. Size 7 1/4.Sparkling Sky is a textured half dome sterling silver band with sterling prongs holding a faceted sky blue topaz. Though no one told us, we assume that the topaz was treated to turn it blue as almost all of the blue topaz on the market has been treated to produce the blue colors. The band is 12.5 mm wide and the stone measures 6.0 mm. The band is sterling silver and looks silver in spite of the yellowish tones that I see in the photo of the ring as it appears on our monitor.
Amethyst 2000$ 75Sterling Silver and Amethyst. Size 9.Amethyst 2000 is a forged ring with an Amethyst gem ball. Doc makes these rings by starting with a piece of wire and "hammering" it into the shape he wants. This is an exercise straight out of Alan Revere's Professional Goldsmithing book which we love! So this is Alan's design not ours. We do love the rings though and so will you. If you like contemporary looking jewelry, you will love this ring.

February's Darling$ 120Reticulated Reticulation Silver, 18K Gold and Amethyst. Size 8.February's Darling is a reticulated reticulation silver ring with an 18K Gold bezel holding an 8 mm amethyst. The band measures 11.0 mm in width. This is a beautiful ring. Prepare for the compliments you will receive when you wear it!
Dazzling Dazzler$ 75Sterling Silver and Dichroic Glass. Size 8 1/2.Dazzling Dazzler is a fantastic display of bright teal/blue color and golden hues in the glass cabochon which is held in a sterling silver bezel cup on a half round sterling silver ring shank. We took a lot of photos, but were never able to show the beautiful medium blue/teal colors that interplay with the golden hues in the cab. The colors in the photo look green when they are actually blue/teal so this photo is somewhat misleading. The balance is a light coppery greenish gold color. The cabochon measures approximately 14.3 mm x 16.5 mm and the shank is 2.5 mm in width. Truly a beautiful and very impressive ring! You will love this one!
