Ken is a lifelong artist who has fallen in love
with opals and their beautiful display of colors. For Ken, finding the
play of color in an opal is like searching for buried treasure. Once located
each opal has its own beauty that commands setting with certain stones to enhance the
individual opal. Once Ken has selected the perfect stones to compliment an opal, he
envisions a design to show these components to their best advantage.
The beautiful creations below are all the
custom work of Ken, who works with his own original castings and does beautifully detailed
pieces whether he is casting or doing intricate carvings. Ken carves the opals to a
shape that he likes and then waxes around the opal in order to create the desired pendant
shape with the stones as an accent to the opal. This insures a 'one of a kind' pendant

Ken, not mass produced or machine carved, painstakingly hand carved by an artisan.

fire. Certainly unique in all of the world, how often can you say that? This
