OpalOpal.com Introduces OurFriends 2000 I wanted to add to my list of kind souls who brightened my life for the year 2000 and came to this page to find that many of those mentioned 1999 deserve a continued mention for 2000.Kelvin and Tim continue to be a wealth of inspiration and support to me on an almost daily basis.Stormy is always the first person that I think of when the computer or software starts to drive me up a wall. We both continue to improve our skills and progress along this path together.Kathie is a one of those wonderful people who always brightens my day when I hear from her. That is a terrific compliment in my book.Chuck continues to answer my endless jewelry questions with patience and grace. He must have an endless supply.Sharon is a new addition to this list and has been an never ending source of amusement and inspiration. Giving food for thought and recipes for dinner plus an occasional joke to make me laugh for a bit.Jack has shared many thoughts, sources and creative ideas with us during the past year as well as the proceeding one and deserves to be recognized here.Lora and Debby deserve mention here as well. Like many on this list they started out as customers and turned into friends. I found their grace and patience inspiring and their friendship steadfast.Walter is mentioned last here not because he is the least important, but because my thanks to him are most difficult to articulate. Thoughtful prayers for an ailing parent are very much appreciated by anyone I am sure, but Walter brought a new dimension to his caring that will not be forgotten here.Friends 1999We have often heard it said that you will find a lot of very nice and friendly people in the lapidary community. We have certainly found this to be true. We have also found this to be true of many people that we have "met virtually" on the internet as well. I could write at great length on this particular subject, but there are definitely some people who have given a great deal of time and consideration to us in the recent past. We wanted to take this space to thank them publicly for their contribution to our progress during the last year.
