created or purchased. From time to time we will post some of them to this page and
offer them for sale. We also have some finished beaded necklaces that we have made.

Laboradorite Necklace

You can purchase the strand without the pendant for $ 90.00 or the

Laboradorite triple strand necklace with 22k Gold
Vermeil clasp has a removable Laboradorite pendant on Dixgold backing. The beautiful
colors of the Madagascar Laboradorite sparkle on the strands and the pendant. We
also sell Spectrolite cabs and rough (we have a little Laboradorite rough as well - email
us if you want some). Spectrolite is the Laboradorite from Finland. The colors
are much richer the ordinary Laboradorite in our opinion.

We can acquire opal beads in many sizes and prize
ranges, at his point the range is from approximately $ 50 per strand to $ 60,000 per
strand. We can sometimes get some rounds and ovals and can always get roundels as
shown below. Rounds start at $ 470 per strand when available and ovals start at $
400 when available. The roundels come in a variety of price ranges starting with the
ones shown below and go up. We are also offering some handmade individual opal beads
subject to availability or we can sometimes create a bead just for you. If you love
opal beads and want to own one, a beautiful single bead on a gold chain may be the answer
for you. Give us a call and we will talk about the possibilities. We can, of
course sell you a gold chain to go with your opal bead.

HOLD
If you like blues and green in rounds then this is the strand
for you. This is a translucent to transparent strand of pale honey opal with flashes
and the "glow" of blues and greens. Like all honey opals these beads look
differently over dark colors than they do over light colors, but they are always
beautiful.

A beautiful strand of rich honey opals that will look fantastic
combined with yellow gold. Transparent to very translucent these honey colored beads
flash bright green, blue, purple and orange/pink fire. These would make a great
strand with an honey opal pendant on an enhancer or they can easily stand alone, totally
unique offering in opal beads.

A beautiful strand of rondels in a transparent to
translucent very pale honey opal with a blue/purple glow to the strand and pink glow that
photographs well in the photo on the right above, there are always portions of the strand
showing the pink coloration.The strand flashes some blue, purple, green and pink in
moderate amounts. It is a beautiful strand that seems to glow in soft blues and
pinks.

This is a beautiful strand of pale honey opal that are
transparent and a few places very translucent. The strand appears to be a soft blue
in room light with flashes of green, blue and purple fire and a soft pink glow visible
here and there. A fantastic strand to compliment your opal pendant or beautiful
enough to be a center piece in their own right. We do not often seen beads of this
quality in this price range. these beads are a close match to Strand 25 if you are looking
for a double strand.

This is a beautiful strand of temporarily strung opal beads with
lots of glitters of fire. Transparent to Translucent with soft glimmers of pastel
play of color. Something really special for a gift or for yourself. We will
string them for you and add a clasp of your choice, if you are unable to string them
for yourself for a fee.
Boulder Opal Bead Strands

This is a nice dark strand of Boulder Opal beads. The strand
shows a moderate amount of play of color in green, blue/purple with some red glints as
well.

These beads are a rich dark brown with play of color in
green, blue, purple and red.

Mexican Opal Bead Strand One - $ 360

There are at least four beads on this strand which show the
contra luz phenomena show above. These same beads appear to be clear when viewed
against a background generally, but show beautiful rainbows of colors against the light.
The makes these beads excellent candidates for earrings. We have faceted
stones and cabochons (or can cut them) to match the beautiful colors in this strand.

There are at least six beads on this strand which show the
contra luz phenomena show above. These same beads appear to be clear when viewed

Beads are irregular in shape. Largest bead measures 15.52
mm x 12.15 mm x 6.44 mm. Smallest or close to smallest bead measures 9.72 mm x 9.34
mm x 3.85 mm.
The beads are polished and drilled pieces of Mexican Opal
ranging from clear to dark orange in color.

Opal Chip Strands

These 16" opal chip strands will make a great addition to
your next beading project. Opal chip strands are also a fantastic way to accent your
favorite opal pendant. Sure winners in all cases. If you like, we will string
them for you and add a clasp for a fee.

CREATE YOUR OWN BAROQUE OPAL BEAD FROM
POLISHED OPALS
We have a large number of opals that we
have elected to polish instead of cab. We are offering these for sale by weight in
various categories which we describe below. We recommend these opals for beads
(you only need to drill a hole), wirewrapping, amulet bags, or whatever use comes to
your mind. Opals may have inclusions, may have matrix, may have play of color and may have
cracks. All are sold by the gram.
These range from $ 3.00 per
gram to $ 8.00 per gram
Polished Opals - Opals in this group
have varying degrees of matrix, inclusions, fire, and possibly cracks.

We were delighted to find these beautiful apatite chip strands.
There are a nice match for some of the opal cabochons with the blue/aqua colors.

We have other aquamarine chip strands, but these are different.
There are small and very "sparkly." You are going to love the way
they look when they are strung.
CORAL BEAD STRAND
The strand below is a wonderful set of RED coral
beads. The strand is 16" in length and is $ 120.00 and we just have the one
set. There is a story that goes along with the strand. The wholesaler,
who supplied them to us, told us the following story about the source of the beads:
They are composed of fossilized coral from
Tibet. The beads were made by monks and the coral was "painted" in many
layers over a period of several years. They say that the beads are only sold about
every 60 years by the monks.
We do not know if this story is true or not.
If the authenticity of the story is of great import to you, then these are probably not
the beads for you, as we have no way of verifying the story that we were told. We can tell
you that these beads, whatever they are, are a really beautiful color and a nice

The strand below is a 16" strand of brass
disks with a groove in the middle of the disk. The strand is $ 12.00. Click on

INDIVIDUAL BEADS
Here is a sampling of some of the individual beads
that we have for sale. These beads are all ceramic with the exception of two beads,
one of which is glass and the other is polymer clay. All of these beads are handmade
by us with the single exception of the glass bead. Many are RAKU beads, others are
inspired by ancient artifacts. These beads range in price from
$ 1.00 to $ 12.00 each. If you would like to purchase one
of them just let us know. We will price them for you.
